Satisfied but not fulfilled. Yeah, i had foos yesterday. Met some more famous people yesterday night and learn some new things. It all started when Darrel decided to fulfill my foos addiction and tried to organize a foos night. I went to his place and found out he was cleaning his place wif roy. Who's roy? ranked 3rd in aussie. Enuff said. I was helping out by washing plates. Yeah it all comes in the process of learning foos. Washing plates strengthens your hands and grip. (As if). Turns put roy has a table at home so i watch him played a game against darrel. Good match and best thing was i got to use the table after that.
This saturday night outing was a by-the-way thing as they had a federation meeting the next day. It was meant to be all the representatives coming down for some foos but for some reason only one turned up. O well this guy was enuff as i realized later. After that we went down to smith street but sigh* we couldn't get in. Fancy putting foosball tables in pubs. Soon after that, we decided to go to charltons. I got it without much trouble mayb becoz i look 18 XD Anyway there i got to see Darrel play Adrian (name of Caucasian that came) After that we invited the table next to us to join us play. Malaysians as well. So we had plenty of doubles games.
The surprise of the night was that this adrian guy was actually a representative of australia. He just returned from Las Vegas where the world tourney were played. @.@ I was like playing wif a world-standard player. Play with him no stress like sure win =P He was in defense and sure enuff it was clean sheet and he scored 7 out of 9 goals. I noe i am shit at offense T.T But it sure was good experience playing with a pro. At least he thinks i was doing alright. Gave me some tips here and there. And then there was MY moment. I scored against Darrel twice. Not once but twice. Ok for you non foosers can skip this part coz u wun understand. First shot was a pull from defense. Wasn't really straight but it ricochet walls and got in. Second was a pull from offense. After failing to pull any goals due to my slow hand, i tot darrel would focus defense on the holes further away. Sure enuff he did, so i just smakced in straight in. roflmao even adrian was laughing his ass off. The total newbie scored twice against an experienced player. Make my day boys~
Now here is the good news. Turns out roy is returning to malaysia to join the nationals on Monday. And i am leaving on thursday. So Darrel considered letting me over to practice. Woot wat more can i ask for. A storm 2 table to myself for 3 whole days. Beats being alone with Jamie Pressly for 3 whole years XD. Anyway gtg lunch now. Hope everything turns out well and God bless.
